Premantura is surrounded by nature like not many other places can boast, this is the southernmost place of the Istrian Penisula in the municipality of Medulin 10 km south of Pula

South of the Premantura is Cape Kamenjak a protected landscape 9.5 km long, 1.5 km wide, with a total of 30 kilometers of coastline. In a relatively small area, there are 530 plant species, including 20 species of orchids, some of which are endemic. Therefore, there are no campsites on the cape, hotels or any other construction.
Kamenjak, because of its rich underwater world is a well-known scuba diving destination.
If you find yourself in Kamenjak be sure to visit its southernmost tip where a great attraction is jumping from high cliffs into the sea and Night divers in water who carries a torch in hand.
Beaches in Premantura
Premantura is located at the southernmost part of the Istrian peninsula, a narrow and long peninsula with a well indented coast with rocky beaches and pebbly bays.
Beach Munte is located in Premantura and is one of the rare beaches adapted for blind people. There is a ramp for access for people with disabilities. The beach can be reached through a pine forest to the stairs with a protective fence. The beach includes a rocky part of the coast, arranged for sunbathing, and the shoreline has steps that descend into the sea and protected by a fence.
Sun deck is paved with stone slabs, and on the southeast side there is a beautiful pebble beach.
In place of Pjescana Uvala (Sandy Bay), which got its name from the beautiful sandy bay are located marine and a beautiful sandy beach.
